Axle Hanging
This is where it starts to get a little shaky.

Okay the CAD software says to make the axle brackets just like this... The axle is at the exact height for the proper ride height, and I even cut the brackets a little oversized. SO WHY THE HELL DON'T THEY FIT?!!?!??

Going back to the drawing board, I make two new brackets. This time I cut to fit.

Now we're getting somewhere! I'll just mount the tire, and...

Ahhh Crap!

I know I wanted the fender close to tire, but this will be a little extreme.

Fo a little clearance I cut off the top tube so that I can move it forward about an inch. Fortunately I only tack welded everything at this point.

To get everything aligned I bust out the new Christmas gift... I call it a "LASER". This cool tool can bring a whole new level of frustration to this project!!!

A few fresh tack welds and bada boom, bada bing... It fits!
Still a little frame trimming to do, but we're getting somewhere!
