Deuce

The Wilco Krewe does number Two!

Now that we have shown the world what level of mediocrity we are capable of, it's time to raise the bar! Now I'm not a real engineer, but I do play one at work, so I thought this would be a good time to show off my expertise at designing something I know very little about. Once I had gathered most of the main parts I modeled them up in ProEngineer (CAD software) and went about designing a minichopper from scratch. My main design constraint was I wanted it to be no more than about 70 inches long so that it would fit in the space allowed in my trailer. Since I didn't really want a long raked out chopper, that wasn't going to be too difficult. After looking at other bikes on the web and borrowing from their designs, the picture above is what I came up with.

Once I had the design finalized I generated drawings with virtually every dimension I would need. This is going to be easy! Designed with the latest CAD software. Measured with the finest tape measure. Marked with the latest magic marker. Cut with the hottest torch. Welded by the drunkest welder. What could possibly go wrong?
